wingnut 27
Well it was my first full week back at work after my two weeks of with paternity, and was looking forward to seeing how much mole activity was present on the golf course during my absence i could not wait to try out my new traps from Steve Albano, on returning to work i discovered a few areas were moles had been working one area were i have already caught two there from a month and abit ago, but any way the result was i caught the one of the 18th relatively quickly on the first day using my talpex, but the other one on the third tee was proving a bit more difficult after checking the trap it was clear the mole had set of some talpex off but no mole and had backfilled the trapline traps (smart mole) but i re-set and this morning i caught two moles so a total of three, my boss was over the moon and so was i, thanks Steve for the traps you sent me i will certainly be purchasing some more in the new year. Happy trapping everyone. Edited December 9, 2009 by wingnut Quote Link to post

Yes they can be frustrating to catch at times but i get a great sense of achievement when i catch one, i was thinking of making a nice pair of gloves for the winter months ha ha cheers Quote Link to post
Steve Albano 21
Wingnut, thanks for posting the pictures and the positive comments about our traps. I really appreciate that. Can I download that picture of the mole in our traps and use it? I'm not sure I have any pictures of European moles on my website. Quote Link to post

myersbg 1,385
steve;s traps are brilliant,i have been using them now for about 6 months, with excellant results, also they are so light to carry. I was wondering if a few of us could put in a order for a decent amount so as we could keep the shipping costs down, anyone interested Quote Link to post
andy67 7
is there anyone in the uk supplying the trapline mole traps ? Quote Link to post
Steve Albano 21
There currently are no distrubutors for our Trapline mole traps in the UK. The shipping costs are not too bad, as the traps are so small and light. But once you start shipping in quantities, the Royal Tax Collectors start to take a closer interest in collecting customs duties and VAT. I'm not sure exactly what the rules on all that are, but we do send small orders to the UK almost every day, and I don't think those small orders are getting hit with taxes. On shipping, we do have prices for small orders on the website, but for larger orders, we can ship about 100-150 traps for 40 US dollars, and we can ship about 200 traps for 51 US dollars. You can order right on the site with a Paypal account, or with any credit card. I'll do what I can to help avoid additional charges and taxes upon arrival. Thanks. Quote Link to post
Marty O Hare 3
I ordered 4 traps from Steve a few months back and did'nt get stung for import duties or anything like that. Good little traps, different from our usuall scissor and duffus type, as said very light. I must remember to take a picture of the next mole I catch in one. Cheers Quote Link to post

They are definately worth it really good little trap and once you get the hang of setting them (took me a few attempts) they are great and really sensitive and catch the mole precisely.
