Kay 3,709
The only sections guests can view is the general section, they cant acess profiles or the dog , ferreting , shooting , falconry sections , thats why theres loads viewing the general section , because its all they can view , so if you start threads like the countryfile ones do it in the dog sections they cant see in there log out & look at what you can view yourselves Not hard to make up a hotmail address and then register though. As with anything don't do or say or posts pictures on the internet that you wouldn't be comfortable with most people knowing. dont talk like one of them. iv got nothing to hide, just dont want them takeing pictures of me or my dogs, so dont talk bolaks to me All I was trying to say is that these days with the advent of myspace/facebook etc people are becoming less wary of putting photos of themselves on the internet and sharing lots of personal information. Well folks sometimes dont really think about it that way , but i agree you do have to be carefull about how much info you allow access to about yourself

droid 11
Alrite mods, lately there has been an awful lot of guests online, at the moment twice as many than members and we all know who they are, so what do you think about not being allowed to view peoples profiles or topics without being a member. and to make sure you arent a anti you should show a picture to you of yourself with your dogs, or gun etc whateva your in to. because at the moment whats the point in haveing a hunting site if you cant even show pictures etc of what you enjoy because you dont whant some sado copieing your pictures. thanks So why do you want this? Or is it one law for the rest, one for 'terrier man'.....

I don't claim to be anything more than what I introduced myself as. I know sod all about hunting dogs, I haven't said anything about you or what you do. I was saying that stopping guests getting on this forum wont do a thing except maybe ease paranoid minds.

You, me or anyone else could be anyone at all. So being a member proves absolutely nothing. Any dope can get a photo of themselves with a dog (rescue, pound, lifted off a site elsewhere, whatever), tougher with a gun but can be done also. So they get a photo, register, and continue on, nothing solved. I presume by photos you mean ones of dogs and foxes. Fair enough. Best thing you can do is get onto your local politician and bend their ear, repeatedly, politely, and consistently. The squeakiest wheel gets the grease, why are the anti's so successful? They write, they phone, they go on radio, tv, articles in papers etc. They have a PC machine. That's what you need to counteract, complaining about guests on here won't solve one thing in the world. If all the members on here were as active and vocal, in a civilized way not just shouting f**k you cuntface, a lot more would be achieved. Will any of that happen? Nope.
