Nice pictures Mooshka.......The Coal Tit often gets mistaken for the Great Tit....you are lucky to have them visiting your table.

 

Thanks.. he was a little shy and took a while to come to the table... I thought he was a marsh/willow tit.. but as pics have shown is in fact a coal.... pretty little thing.. :)

When I was ringing with the BTO, the thing that amazed me about coal tita was the size of their feet in proportion to their body, absolutely massive, always took some getting out of the nets..Nice collection of photos of them though hon..just need some long tails to come next :thumbs:

Brilliant pics Tracey, its always a pleasure to watch the different type of birds in the garden, having been very good at feeding mine this year...
