bicykillgaz 1
hi guys just a quick one i have recently been using the above rounds, i bought some the other day and only 3 in one box had proper hollows the rest varied greatly, most had a virtually flat head with a slight dip in it have any of you found the same? i have always used eley subsonic hollowpoints but for some reason my two locals since moving here don't stock them, i just think its really poor i'll try put some pictures up, some of them look like solids there that bad! is it worth taking them back or are they generally a poor round? no wonder my grouping wasn't great gary Quote Link to post
Geoff.C 0
Hmm! Very surprised at this, I have had no "miss-shapes" in my Winchesters before. I wonder if you have a bad batch? If you look at Ian's poll, Winchester are the favourite of most. I have found the quality to be equal to Eley's, and because my new rifle shoots equally well with both, I opt to pay 50p a box less for the Winchesters. I would take them back to the shop, and get them to check their stock. Quote Link to post
