pencoed hunter 7
Got a litter of 10 lab pups at 6 weeks old and one is losing fur on his head and starting to scab anyone got any ideas why its doing this and whats the cure? Could it be the others attacking him?
mushroom 12,925
Pencoed Vets!!! Could be owt mate mites, natural rubbing hair loss, flea/food allergy is it scratching or not it could just be from rubbing it. My staff from time to time loses well more thins out in a couple of places but it always grows back the same as before, one of my russels on the other hand is a nightmare she has serious allergys (thanks to the cants that I took her off) so much so that she costs money every month to keep her healthy and I've now got to fork out £300 - £400 for a gland op on her but all this could have been avoided if the previous owner had just gone to the vets. If the others were attacking it I would expect to see battle damage red scratches that sort of thing but can't from the photos posted. As I said if your worried there is only one option Vets. hope this helps ATB Kie
