is there any way to treat mange

Recommended Posts

WTF ....get it to the vets you idiot

There’s no need to be like that.

There are two different types of mange, sarcoptic and dermatex you can get rid of sarcoptic pretty easily but dermatex is harder to get rid of and sometimes stays with a dog forever you need to identify what the dog has got with a skin scrape the vet can do this. Then you will know what to treat the dog with the is a large number of treatments on the market and some of them will work for your dog.

ivermectin is probly the best but i wouldnt recomend it for dogs with collie blood as sometimes it will kill them but not always !! a good dowse in sheep dip or benzo benzoate will do the trick if its scartopic mange if its dermodectic mange thats a nerve related thing and can be treated with antibiotics ,
