Dear Ben

Thanks for your e-mail regarding 'Countryfile' as broadcast on 6 December.

I understand you're annoyed as you feel the programme reflected badly on hare coursing and dog men and gave an inaccurate overview of the activity.

We appreciate your feedback and I can assure you that it's been forwarded to the production team. We feel that as hare coursing is currently illegal, we presented it as such.

That being said, it's not for Countryfile to make value judgements on what should or shouldn't be a crime.

As you feel strongly on this matter I've registered your comments on our audience log. This is the internal report of audience feedback which we compile daily for all programme makers and commissioning executives within the BBC.

Thanks again for taking the time to contact us.

Regards

Well if nothing else we kept the wankers busy! Despite the fact that they completely missed the point.

Dear Mr ******

Thank you for your e-mail regarding 'Countryfile' broadcast on 6 December 2009. I understand you're unhappy with a report on hare coursing. 'Countryfile' aims to cover all issues affecting the British countryside, and this particular film was about wildlife crime. Hare coursing is currently illegal, and was presented as such. It's not for 'Countryfile' to make value judgements on what should or should not be a crime.

I appreciate you feel quite strongly about this issue and I'd like to assure you that I have registered your comments on our audience log. This is the internal report of audience feedback which we compile daily for all programme makers and commissioning executives within the BBC, and their senior management. It ensures that your points, and all other comments we receive, are circulated and considered across the BBC. Thank you again for contacting us with your concerns.

I've not had a reply yet,but i expect it would be a similar reply,it's just them giving their opinion anyway, they will also expect you NOT TO BOTHER about it after that, hoping you'll just forget it.I have put a link to this thread on Moochers now

in reply to their own Countryfile Wildlife crime thread,so hopefully we can generate more support and interest in doing something else about it,

Higgins.

I have suggested that we protest in a complaint about the licence fee,(i don't own a tv and have never bought a licence in my life)i'm sure they will become worried about losing money,if a complaint was made about the fact that you are paying for them to produce biased reporting and that they don't represent all views, especially hunting communities, but it would mean having to give up your tv's,

Dear BBC Viewer Thank you for your e-mail regarding 'Countryfile'. I understand that this particular edition was one sided and factually inaccurate. Hare coursing has been illegal since 2005 and we presented it as such in the programme. You can find details of the actual Parliament Bill below: http://www.parliament.the-stationery-office.co.uk/pa/cm200001/cmbills/002/01002--i.htm#sch3ptI That being said, it's not for 'Countryfile' to make value judgements on what should or shouldn't be a crime. Nevertheless we cannot agree it was an attack on hunting per se. I hope this helps to clarify the situation however I appreciate that you may continue to hold a different view. We appreciate your feedback and I can assure you that it's been forwarded to the production team. I've also registered your complaint on our audience log. This is a daily report of audience feedback that's circulated to many BBC staff, including members of the BBC Executive Board, channel controllers and other senior managers. Thanks for taking the trouble to contact us with your concerns. Regards James KellyBBC Complaints____________________________www.bbc.co.uk/complaints

Come on lads and lasses, everyone get involved and just spend a few minutes sending a complaint, the longer this goes on something may well come out of it,wake up from your slumber, there's plenty of sleep when your dead,

Higgins. :victory:look at the news about climate change protests or the steel workers march through a football game for inspiration, but remember this ,you'll never be heard if you don't protest, think victory :victory::victory: and one more........ :victory:

hi all, this is what i typed on the other country file post,

i really dont think all the complaints, not watching the shite show will have much effect tbh as we all still pay TV licenses!!! so they are still winning we only pay the fecking thing to line the pockets of twats like craven and fat cat bosses!!!

short of taking a semi automatic and going on a shooting spree :icon_eek: as a last resort!! then a march bringing together people from all over the land in the heart of london at rush hour without informing anyone will cause havoc then the arseholes will have to listen to us!!!! :clapper:

now dosser before you harp on about not having to pay the license, i havent implied you have to, just that we do it as part of life, to stop them dicks coming and hiding in there little shitty vans spying to see if your watching tv, taking you to court and the court fining you which they do, to line the governments pockets even more.

if someone can organise it me, my partener, friends and all our dogs will be there for defo all it needs is a time and date like them idiots used to do when theyd text "toilet roll shop, corner of nixen drive, 1pm" and everyone just swarmed the shop!!! i think it would be so funny everyone in there sunday best turning up and crippling the heart of the capital the cops wouldnt know what to do as i guess they are usualy prepared for marches etc i reckon it would be such a great way of telling labour:

"WE ARE SO f*****g SICK OF THEM, THE SLIMEY ANTI'S & ALL THIS SHITE"

with all these stupid laws and political correctness we might as well be living under f*****g saddam hussain himself (before the be-heading obviously)its a joke we let all the asylum seekers into britain, to take OUR jobs as they live 30 in a 2 bedroomed flat, we give them everything they need, house, phone, car, OUR tax money, what do we get?? £60 pissy quid a week dole even though some like me have worked since 15yrs old, cant work our dogs properly and our kids can even sing bah bah black f*****g sheep at school anymore incase it offends, its a nursery ryhme for gods sake sung long before any ethnics were about! i say f**k them too! so.. GREAT BRITAIN?? whats so great about it anymore?? some of these pie arsed politicians wanna try living on nowt and supprting a family yeah they have tried it for a week on tv but its not real is it?? if i had my way i would force a mass revolution like the frogs did and chuck the government out cause basically THEY ARE SHITE!!! it boils my piss just sat here typing this shit out on the screen!!!

<big sigh> i feel so much better for that now lol but i reckon my thought pattern is correct and aint bothered if anyone disagrees bring in the national front, in fact im gunna go email them and see what advice they give!!!! :)
