JohnGalway 1,043
I know what I saw Villebones mentioned dreams. I'd a dream about foxes the last night, I don't often remember them. Walking along the road and saw six or seven foxes in my cousins fields, middle of the day. Back to the house and get the rifle and a little camo. Over to the farm, settle into a nice corner, see a rustle in the rushes... And I feckin wake up! Getting a bit worrying this craic... OldTrapCollector 377
Ive seen the aurora borialis in Hampshire and i can assure you that i was on NO chemicals This was around 2000 -2001 cant remember exactly which year, but it was late autumn! I was out foxing at the time, and the colours were amazing, but not quite as pronounced as they are ooppp norf! John, What you saw that night was actually noctilucent cloud not aurora borealis. It was a milky green colour? I remember that night - the cloud was present for a good few hours from midnight until about 3 o'clock and could be seen right down on the south Dorset coast. mccloud 0
It is called the "gegenschein". It is the reflection of the light of the sun on the opposite side of the atmosphere. You are lucky to have seen it. Astronomers have spent years trying to photograph it. Ric Sorry Pal, they ain't the same thing. Definitely a Moonbow !

OTC What i saw was identical to the stuff they get in the poles (just not as bright), reds and greens, and there was no cloud! It was shimmering and jumping about all over the place. It started as it was getting dark, i dont know when it finished cause it was still going when i went home. I have also seen an exploding shooting star, and heard the fecker too. I thought the end was nigh
