whippetlady 0
hi,we have a first cross wheaten whippet, she is ,as you would expect only small, but she is one of the best little dogs we have owned.we bred a litter of wheatenxwhippet greyhounds, mainly to take the size up as our little bitch was not big enough for large pre-ban stuff. our friend has just bred a litter of 3/4greyhound 1/4 wheaten pups and the pups should make 25".they will be trainable and do what is expected of them and as far as weight goes they should be able to hold down anything.they are fearless yet biddable. :thumbs-up: Quote Link to post

Moorman 1 1,412
I used to own a 3/4 Greyhound 1/4 Wheaten several years back.He stood around about 24 to the shoulder but I think he was quite small for a 3/4.I can honestly say that he was one of the most tractable lurchers that I have owned you would only need to show him something once or twice where quarry was concerned and he wouldn't forget it.He would also take all legal quarry.I find the Wheaten crosses to be a very intelligent cross that gives their all, very good on the lamp. Keep us posted if your mate gets his pup. Quote Link to post
