Longnet Confusion

Hi, I have been ferreting for a fair while now and have always used purse nets or shot them but a few months ago i purchased a fifty yard longnet. what i am stuck with is do you permanently attach the poles to the net using tape etc or do you completely dismantle the net and poles everytime like i do. This takes for ever, surely there is an easier way any help appreciated.

the way you have been doing it is called the traditional way

 

with the poles rigged up permantly is called a quick set

but you will a basket to go with it

 

what are you using for poles

get some nice straight lenghts of hazel

and rig it up ur self using castration bands

 

if you need and help im only 1/2 hours drive away
