skellyb 8
They have NO right to enter your home to inspect your animals or to demand that you answer any of their questions. http://cheetah.webtribe.net/~shg/rspcarights.htm
mcass123 6
dont know how the RSPCA work mate, i do know that the SSPCA (the scottish version of the RSPCA) would come back with the plod if they really want to have access to your dogs. it happened not so long ago with my cousins boyfriend, their neighbour said the dog was in a state, they put a card through the door but didnt go near the dog cause he wasn't in, they kept trying to get him but he kept avoiding them and they turned up team handed with 6 police and they went round his back. i would let them in, have a look at your set up, look at your dogs (greyhound cross's) aka mongrels i wouldn't mention anything else in the breeding hunting is fcuked up enough as it is without these barstards coming chapping on all our doors, i agree with all the lads, they have no right to see your dogs but the police can and will do all they can to assist them and if someone has made a complaint, they wont stop until they have seen your dogs my opinion only mate, let them in and get some peace then on the fly, kick thy neighbour very swiftly to the fcuking balls making sure it hurts the c u n t!!!! atb mcass123
monkjack 0
happened to me a couple of years back told me had a complaint about a skinny underweight dog left in a small kennel kept comin while i was at work in the end told my old girl they would come back with the police finally they came one night sittin outside my house as i got back from walkin the said skinny dog (half cross bull grey who looked like a pure bull which they didnt seem to notice) i spoke to them bloke and a bird who was more manly than him (both tw*ts) and the bird said is this the only dog i told them they can take my old ladies yorkie if they wanted cos its old and keeps pi**in on the floor they didnt see the funny side of it then they said if anything the dog was a bit over weight i said probably because hes 14yrs old and cant run around much now then they said well hes kept in a small kennel so i showed them the small kennel was in fact a 6x4 shed with a built in bed and 8x8 dog run i said i can see how it might look cramped but he aint got much furniture to worry about they said ok weve seen enough and as they left i said dont bother me again and drive safe. scottish lurcher 185
Hi all, ive had card off the rspca asking for me to phone them so the missis did and they phoned back saying they want to see my dogs because a neighbour has complained that my dogs are locked in a shed all the time (4 grand kennels) never let out or walked ( every day in the morning before work and evey nite after work)and in a scruffy condition, i prob spend more on looking after my dogs than they spend on they children. i have a 7/16 bull grey bitch pup 8 months old and a bull grey x minshaw dog 2year old. having trouble downloading pics will try again to show kennels and dogs. but want to know do i tell him to f**k off or leave him in. have nothing to hide but worried bout the breeding of them, dont want to loose them. ATB Buddy hi had rspca put a card through my door about 4 weeks ago cos lad next door reported me for keeping my dogs in small cages in back garden cos i asked him to remove his car from my driveway the head of the rspca looked at my temp kennels which was 6ft x4ft shed with 6ft run he took pics and told me kennels was fine but was awaiting new one next day they are now housed in 6ftx 8ft shed with 16ft run with a roof over it so as long as they got shelter its cool but some one reported you just be honest and show guy you got nothing to hide and you will be ok

skellyb 8
Many people have thought "It will never happen to me because........." and then it happened.. ...the RSPCA called and they lost their good name and animals forever!! An uniformed RSPCA inspector arrives. They may knock at the door or you will see them looking into sheds, stables and buildings. They say that they have had a report about your animals and would like to check them. · Have they any rights to be on your property? ................................ NO!! · Do they have any special legal powers? ......................................... NO!! · Can they demand entry to your dwelling to look at your animals? ... NO!! · Can they demand that you answer questions? ................................ NO!! What should you do?? Be polite, but very firm and refuse them entry. Tell them to leave. If they refuse you are entitled to use reasonable force to eject them, as you would any other common trespasser. If a policeman is present, ask him to leave unless he has a warrant, or is going to arrest you. Do not volunteer any information. Keep your mouth shut, Refuse to answer any questions. Do not even give your name. They may caution you and tell you that you are not under arrest, using the standard police wording. They may do their best to ignore you and talk over you, trying to goad you into giving answers to their allegations. The uniform, the caution, and the general demeanour are meant to intimidate you. You may feel that you are being helpful to let them in and have a look round and you may feel that you have nothing to hide but do not let yourself be lulled into a false sense of security. Many innocent animal keepers have lost their animals in this way. If you allow them in you are opening yourself up to problems which could lead to you losing your animals even if you are a good and conscientious keeper. THE RSPCA DO NOT HAVE ANY SPECIAL POWERS WHATSOEVER. Get names, numbers, and rank of any person present, write them down. Cancel going shopping next day, the RSPCA has a habit of returning when you are not there. People have returned to find all their animals gone and receipts nailed to a post or door. If possible move your animals to neighbours and friends you can trust. What to do when they have left. Don't sit down and think that is the end of it. Your battle has only just started.. Get photographs of all your stock, land and premises. Get your vet out to look at all of your animals and get him to write a report. Act immediately on any recommendations he has. The written report is essential. Get specialist legal advice. Below are two phone numbers. We know of solicitors, barristers, and specialist vets and land experts who are accepted by the courts as expert witnesses. For any help : 0844 700 66 90 Should your number be automatically withheld prefix the above number wth 1470 Hopefully none of the above has happened to you, and we hope it never will, but please be prepared just in case. Do not treat the RSPCA lightly. They are an immensely wealthy and incredibly powerful organisation who openly admit to breaching people’s civil and legal rights. Helen 2
Don't wish to be alarmist but I would take the above advice and take this very seriously. There was a case in the papers a few months ago where a couple had their child taken into care after police and RSPCA raided over dogs. The police made a mess of the place and then called social services. Didn't say what happened about the dogs.
