skinnyrat 0
you can use your mouth to imitate the squeel of a rabbit or hare,or mouse for that matter,or you can use the back of your hand,or some people use a piece of polystyrene rubbed on the lamp glass,or you can just buy a fox call, curiosity is just as deadly for the fox as it is for the cat, good luck

MickC 1,825
As FF said you need the wind to be blowing your smell away from the direction of the Fox,otherwise it doesnt matter how good your call is you wont call it in.Always try to manouvere yourself so your downwind of the Fox when you begin to call.Sometimes when your calling a Fox it will arc round and try and get downwind of you and if it smells you it will be off. AKA-BRINDLE 879
Spot on mate sitting behind a hedge smelling of olde spice and blowing a little trumpet could make for a long night, allways has seemed to me a fox can smell a bloke or domestic dog a mile away you got to remember old foxy has known every blade of grass hedge and tree in his territory all his life hes no fool but he can be a creature of habit and theres his weakness, suss him out first and take it from there beats sitting around all night squeaking. HBG 350
the one i had oldskool was the hare caller,it was the best i've used but maybe a bit severe on a quiet night, but i always get as low to the ground as possible when i'm calling and if it was quiet i would blow it in my jacket,i'm not one for calling foxes usually but when i had that i had to give them a go.i have someone over in america trying to get one for me.
