Out lamping

Out again with the lamp :thumbs-up: went down with maxhardcore and fieldmarshall . Tomo and young witton of the site were meeting us at the farm not a bad night plenty dark enough with a bit wind we split up and did different parts of the farm we had 4 in the bag out of the first small field with the dogs taking turns they soon started to fill the rabbit carriers we had some real good runs rabbits jumping in the air one rabbit jumping off a grass mound on a bank must of went through the air 10ft the dogs took some that were running up walls all the dogs were doing well .We started to make our way back to the farm on the way back my dog was on a rabbit that was going down a banked field it went over a bit of a dip and he pulled up sharp first i thought he must have just lost sight of it and put him on his leader and waited for his next turn to run his next one was a hard run in and out of a hedge and over a fallen wall he picked it up and just stood with it i walk over and he was holding his leg up a bit it looked like it might be a old shoulder injury it might have been why he pulled up on his last run kept him on and gave him a rub down when we got back to the car fieldmarshalls dog had a cut his foot aswell .We waited for tomo and witton to get back to have a bit natter i think we caught around 45 alltogether but there was a few with mixi tomo and witton were going to try another farm after we left so i don't know how many more they got .

It was a great night lads I cant wait to get out again Tomo's pup is a machine she didnt show any signs of slowing down and it was really good to see visa run she certainly knows her job and does it with style. Roll on next time

Tomo im going to try and improve mistys recall. Thanks for the tips about just useing one comand. Im going to start in the morning. Just letting her go then get down onto her level call her in then give her a treat and a good fuss. I will let you know how it goes
