Kay 3,709 Posted December 6, 2009 Report Share Posted December 6, 2009 Today i saw the cygnets up the lake fly for the first time , i managed to get 3 pics of the young cob flying & landing, what a sight, i reccon it wont be long before the cob drives them on to the big lake I have watched these pair grow up from tiny balls of fluff into beautifull swans , theres sill a little of the grey feathering on there underside but there almost fully grown i would say Will have to look out for some more cygnets in the spring to follow there progress Quote Link to post Share on other sites

They havent had the rings on them yet , i have got the pens number which is on a yellow tag but the cobs got a metal tag on his leg & i havent been able to read the numbers on it yet Quote Link to post Share on other sites
