youngferreter09 0
hello all. well i zeroed my scope not so long ago and it was shooting perfect the only probelm is the scope turrets are at there limit. i took it out this morning to make sure it was still shooting accurately but its shooting about 4 inch to the left from the centre dot on the target card and the turrets wont go any further. what should i do Quote Link to post
davyt63 1,845
hi buddy if you turn windage & elevation till they can go no more whilst counting, then turn them back half the count.lets say you turn them 6 full turns then come back three. this should get them back to center. then re-zero,im no scope expert but it is a pretty simple process . i hope this helps! regards davy Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Young, The cure for this is as follows 1. On the left / right turret of your scope. 2. Either with a allan key or small screw driver which ever your scope has take off the turning part of your scope turret. 3. Under the turret will be a tiny allen key grub screw or screw. 4. Loosen that grub screw or screw a couple of turns and replace the turret. It works as i fixed Reggaemans scope about 3 weeks ago with the same method. Good luck Zini. Edgar 1
Hi I once had the same problem. The gun was shooting too high. I put a layer of insulating tape on the inside of the bottom back ring of the scope mount and another on the inside of the top front ring. Did the job. Quote Link to post
farmboy99 1
i was going to say the same you can just put either tape of card in the mounts to compensate. so youd want to put some in the front left of your mounts and the back right to push the scope to the right a bit. good luck mate -tom Quote Link to post
