CZ Rimfire .... Age

Not thought about this before, but does anyone know how you can check the age of your CZ Rimfire??

I bought a used 452 Trainer at a gun show from a dealer about 6 months ago. I paid $275 and don't regret it. It too looked hardly used and the trigger has smoothed out after 500 Winchester Dynapoints - its favorite; even over CCI MMags. The beech wood on mine does have the checkering. The year of manufacture (2 digit) is stamped on the barrel - very tiny. It is a quality gun with the best iron sights of any that I own.

On the lefthand side of the barrel an inch infront of the caliber stamp.

 

The year has a little hall mark stlye symbol next to it, well it does on mine.

If you look at the left side of your action and barrel close to your action you will see a number, this is the year of manufacture.

I think you are all referring to the proof mark, which would obviously tend to be indicative of the age of the gun.

 

I was just wondering if CZ built anything into the Serial No/etc as many manufacturers do to date it production wise!
