Massacre

Just a whinge here lads. Popped in the garage last night on way home and picked up local paper. Was shocked to read a story on the front page! A farmer had lost 4 ewes, had 3 injured and 2 completely disappeared in what looked like a stray dog attack! We all know it happens but thenas i read a little further the plot thickened! These ewes werent just attacked by a stray these were attacked by someone who knew exactly what they were doing! Two were found completely skinned! Is there any justice in it! They wont get caught but its the innocent law abiding hunters that take the flack! It gives a bad name to all dogmen! Just wondering what you lads thing about this! Cheers.

Not being clever mate, but it's not hunters who've got the blame, you just said it was a stray that got blamed.

Maybe someone fancies a bit of lamb for boxing day ............. :whistling:

Aye the farmer thought it were a stray until he found the skinned ones. Looks kind of suspicious though dont it, dog attacks and skinning in the same night! I can understand what your saying about the Lamb for Boxing Day! b*****d Recession! :icon_redface:

It happens all the time around me, one farmer even lost 3 bullocks one night, nothing to do with stray dogs, gypsys or dog men, these are out of work slaughtermen, experienced men who are rigged up for the job.

These sheep had recently been wormed so the meat isn't fit for human consumption. It's not going to be good for anyone that eats it. Or if they feed the meat to their dogs and they are collie type, there's a high chance that it could kill their dogs. (Ivermectin, a common ingredient in sheep wormer, is highly toxic to many collie type dogs)

That,s life,s Cant stop it.So we just have to live with it

What a stupid thing to say ,,,,thats not life ....we can stop it ...and we dont have to live with it

He's right in a way Moo, scum have been rustling sheep as long as shepherds have been keeping 'em. There's never going to be a point in time where it never ever happens. Same with poaching.
