irishnut-As near as I can tell our laws are way more in favor of the hunter here than in the UK or Ireland. Our pests are open to hunt 24/7 When I have had folks here from the UK to hunt they were amazed at how open we are about our hunting, and nearly fainted when we said the big ranchers will take away our permission if we DONT try to kill all the pests when we are on their land. We even have laws that prevent the "antis" from harassing hunters...

We do have seasons on some animals, and some states have lost certain types of hunting, but as everyone knows there is always a loophole if you look hard enough...

I seem to remember reading that the right to hunt and fish unhindered is actually written into your constitution over there, is that right Doc?

maltenby-The right to have a gun (keep and bear arms), not the right to hunt specifically, though it has been proposed at the State level to make it part of the State constitution

Doc/Dan have you ever owned or seen a dog that would take coyotes single handed?

Not a loaded question, just curious, obviously it would take an exceptional dog.

Yes, I own a male dog that can take 9 out of 10 coyotes single handed. I have not seen him completely whipped off yet but I did see one close call out of I think 11 coyotes now that I have seen him take single handed so I know the one that will whip him off is right around the corner.

 

The man that let me have him has seen him whipped off before though. I think he has around 60 yotes under him single handed, not really sure though.

 

Doc, I dont care which one gets to her first but I do want at least one pup. Two would be nice, haha but its all up to you. I plan on gettin you some blood out your way soon but I need some of that Reba blood real bad. That bitch is just one word. AWESOME!

Ya, I got pics of him. There might be a few on here. I think when the forum changed though that alot of the old posts and such with all my pics on it are gone. I would have to scan all the old pics and I dont have any camera right now except them throw aways. Too busy workin to even go get one.
