Luke5280 0
I run a 1952 series 1 landrover everyday, i've put a perkins prima engine in it so it's reliable, it's also propper quick with it being a 2ltr turbo! never paid road tax and only 300 quid insurance fully comp, Will out perform most things off road! Only down side is there are no comforts what so ever! Landrover- the way forward!

gsi2000stokie 5
sj's come as 1ltr or 1.3ltr, you can get a conversion plate (£50ish) that mates to the samurai gearbox to fit a vitara lump which is quite easy to do, or you could all out and fit the vw diesel or pug diesel, ive got an sj now and i had loads before, iv had to insure this one on a new policy though as my misses passed her test a few months ago and it was cheaper for me to get a new policy than insure 2 cars on the same one, its £260 fully comp, 0 ncb. depending on how much you want to spend on mods the sj is cheaper to do and also a lot stronger offroad than a vitara, although both are very capable the sj seems slightly better that the vit,, the sj's axles are stronger and lifting them is pretty easy with a body lift and offroad armoury missing link shackles, http://www.offroad-armory.com/samurai.html or the vit (to compare lift kits) http://www.offroad-armory.com/vitara.html if your into suzukis this will be a good site to get your answers http://forum.muddyzook.co.uk/index.php join and introduce yourself and tell em what your up to, the guy that runs it supplys suzuki parts aswell heres mine
