75w Xenon vertical filament bulbs for Lightforce 170

For my Lightforce 170. I need the spec in the title. But, I'm bitterly opposed to pay the £9.50 + P&P for those on target sports etc type websites.

 

Any sites offering better value for that spec bulb?

Theres some on e bay mate, £4. Unfortunately you have to buy the xenon type which are a bit more expensive. Iv tried other replacement bulbs and there not the same.

I know, they just don't cut it compared to the proper ones. I'll take another look on the bay

john most of the quality bulbs are expensive, i'd say 8 or 9 quid isn't expensive, as some i've seen for other lamps go to about 16 to 20 quid.....

I know Snap, I'm just skint I'll keep looking for another while, got a 50W bulb in at the moment and honestly it's not too bad at all.

i know these are halogen but i hope this helps, the osram appears to be horizontal but according to osram

website it does have the vetical filament.

hi john,

 

take a sample down to your local photographic shop or some one like jessops . the xenon bulbs are commonly used in slide projectors or digital pojectors can normally be got for around a fiver for a 100w bulb.

I have a couple of 100w bulbs for lightforce, you can have one if you want it, i use them on my roof mounted lamp and my hand held lightforce.

Cheers for the offer Hilux. I actually already have two or three spare 100W lightforce bulbs and some 50W ones. I'm looking for a middle of the road option in power consumption and light as most of my power is in a battery on my back. Doing alright with the 50W at the moment, I'll keep an eye out to see if anything comes up.
