you will find it difficult toget on driven shoots or permission without being known to or by the lads that work it.

the forestry commission in germany organize big days and need dogs( once again you stand more chance if they know or know of you).

I never seen dog used for pig in europe. I see hunt with rifle in france, poland & italy.only in new zealand i see dogs used, on mountains.

 

 

i think you will find that when on a driven shoot in france and germany the pig are found by dogs and persuaded to get up and move :boxing:

i don't know of anyone who uses ONLY dogs.

There's a Dogo club that hunts in Spain but it's very rarely. I think the guy is from this web site

I'm not too sure if he speaks english.

 

Also I have been told that once a year, on private land, it is possible to get a permit but you have to know the land owner etc.

 

Unfortunately it seems a thing of the past here (at least legally, but the fines are huge and not worth the risk).
