when topic says all rounders,,,,does that mean roe deer and foxes & also rabbits ,hare,s ,,,,single handed for this type off breed,,,pre ban,,

from experance and talking to my old man whos delt with this type,s longer than most ,,,i,e ped x grey 50,s 60,s 70,s,,,,,,and non ped x grey 80,s & 90,s

he did notice one thing ,,,it takes a very specail whip x grey to take bigger game,,

now i heard off 21/ 22 inch take fox,,single handed,,but are well scarred afterwards,,as take,s long time to do job,,,but they do

now as for adult roe,,,smallest whippet cross ive tryed is 36lb 23 1/2 inch ,,,,single handed,,,,,but would take longer to depatch,,,but in all fairness did,,and ran the roe down really well

my question really is as iam not sure,,,( might be x gamekeeper but that doesnt mean i know everything,,) the fawn dog in my signature has great jaw power,,more than the 36lb 23 1/2 inch whippet cross i had in past ----- has anyone had a 221/2 inch whippet cross take adult roe single handed,,as ive not tryed a 32lber on a roe,,,,,,i know my 28lber in my singnature couldnt,,give him his due,s he,ll give it a go as done in past,,,but his size , not his heart,,, was at end off the day his biggest haddycapp,,no fault off his own

basically to simafly ,,,what the smallest cross whippet ,,( 1/4 ,,1/2 whippet grey uve ever owned take bigger game pre ban )
