Rainmaker 7
hi there,i had a similar problem virus totally took over my computer.indian voice saying "attention attention your computer has been hijacked" or something like that, anyway wouldn't let me do anything but go to this 1 site that would that was willing to help(sell) me a cure(tossers).the only thing i could do was push the off button on my computer(not even shut it down properly)so the end of this tale is i found out that by starting the computer in safe mode i could system restore to a date of my choice.restoring to a date prior to the infection i regained control of my computer.i do have spyware doctor on my computer which normally works alright but it let me down this time.i hope no one gets this virus as its real nasty but this may help if you do. atb slaneyside Be careful mate, the malware is 99.99% still likely housed in your system restore database and can jump back to bite you in the arse. Download SuperAntiSpyware and MawlareBytes (both free). Disable system restore (procedure varies depending on the OS, check Google), which will delete any pre-existing restore points, and then run the two tools one after the other in normal mode (not safe mode). See what you find.
