Its all down to personal choice/preference.

 

Any calibre will do the biz :yes:

 

However, there are a great deal less variety pellets in .20 cal and .25 cal. I also think the (lesser used cal of .20 and .25) are more expensive.

 

.22 and .177 in the UK are the two that have been and will continue to be the staple choice for the airgun shooters :clapper:

Is the gun a brand new gun mate or a second hand one?

 

If its second hand ask the person selling it to you to let you have a few shots with it at range. IE the zero range to see what it zeroes like with the pellets that he uses.

 

Ask him about .20 pellet prices and than make up your mind friend.

 

That’s my advice but I’ve never owned or shot a .20 calibre rifle so I cant say more than a scientific approach like I’ve suggested mate.
