hi all looking at a remington 700 sps tactical 223 wanted to no what silencers are recomended and are the guns screw cut?????? thanks for the help

I use a t8 on my 223, I haven't compared it to anything else. The mod is quite heavy and will rust easy if not cleaned and dried after use.

i don't think any of the sps range come with screw cut barrels, however syss, have made their own version of the A-tec mod.... and its keenly priced, i think around 225 for the mod and the screw cutting....

i couldn't recommend there service highly enough.

Snap.

Edgar Brothers are screw cutting most of them, they are available cut or standard, different part codes so you need to order the right one. Screwcut 5/8" UNF.

I might be persuaded to sell mine...

Regarding moderator, get something light. I have a P8 Compact on mine and it's OK, but lighter would be better.

buy secondhand mate. your get a better saving and 223 will last years and years and years. so shouldnt be bothered to much about barrel wear.

ase cqb is about the best mod imo its dear but you get what you pay for. i like the fact its small to. you dont need a massive mod on a 223. a t4 will do the job fine

I am considering selling it. It has been used mainly as a range rifle for a while, and then kept mainly for the other half who has moaned about recoil. Now she has toughened up and shoots .308, might be able to sell. I am getting another .308 for me shortly, so if that works out there is every possibility that I will indeed sell the Remington.
