What do you prefer??

Id like to know some peoples opinions and past experiences when it comes to using either a dog or a bitch, some people will swear by using a dog as its alot harder etc but then u hear of others that will swear of only ever working bitches. So lets have it...

my mate and his dad swera by that they saw a terrier at a show in hetton way 3 years ago that had both bits of a male and female. guess you get the best of both with that dog.

never owned a working bitch, only dogs, god only knows why but i have always went for the dog, not much help from me here

Dogs for me, you can get good bitchs, but they can come in heat right in the hunting season .plus dogs temp suit me better.

this is wat i dont get about this site its suppose to get the hunting poeple together to share experiances and for people to learn off so does it matter if its been asked before or not its now she wants to find out . some people got differnt veiws but u always get a hand full of dicks like u who spoil it. it was just a question and like i said some got good veiws so if u read a thread and u don like wat u read then don reply or do u like try to be the big man by makin people sound daft .with out silly little comments like that then maybe this site would run smoother

How is a dog "harder" than a bitch ???? I've had dogs and bitches, over many years, and seen no evidence of that.

I don't know about working, but having had bitches and dogs I find bitches far more family friendly. I had real dominance problems with a male Jack russell with the kids so I would only choose bitches from now on. Of course it may have just been that particular dog, but I'm not going to take chances.

in general speaking i have always preferred bitch's, I now have a dog pup which was a complete unexpected arrival and he is definitely changing my mind regarding the outlook on dogs, as mentioned before his temprement seems to suit me better.... Its all horses for courses.

 

A old man once told me a funny lil thing though. (he only kept bitch's)

 

He said dogs were only good for 3 things, eating-fighting and shagging.

i like them both as long as they work but imo the bitchs ive had have been easyer to train and faster to learn cheers jed

i run both i dont care as long as it does the task at hand but in my experience dogs are a bit more independent and need discipline where as the bitches are more loyal and easier to train atb

me personally i run a dog but me pal has a couple of bitches and they literally throw themselves at whatever is in front of them, game as fook.

bitch only for me,have had one dog over the years,nothing but a winger every time it was knocked up so put me off them,dont forget people this is only a personal choice through experiance,not saying one is any better than the other
