This one is 1" wide, tried 1.5" wide and it looked and felt to bulky, especially where the straps go around the shovel handle. Main strap section is 2 layers thick. Bootsha 1,306 Posted December 4, 2009 Report Share Posted December 4, 2009 Try drilling a 10 mm hole in the very top left hand corner of the face of your shovel ( as you look at it) if you carry your shovel over your left shoulder, and get an old dog lead clip ( the spring loaded ones you know) ,attach to bottom end of said luminous strap and Bobs your uncle, fanny's your Aunt. Unhook and dig at your leisure Perhaps you could supply those as well SS, already fixed, seeing as you are the man who has every known gadget known to dog men . It's what I use and it works a treat.
