So my supersport gas ram air rifle is running dry. Last time i stripped it down i used a silicone grease on the rubber seal and metal on metal surfaces. I read this was bad. What should i use? I have a metal polish and black moly paste what goes where?

I have read that cleaning my barrel is important because of excess lube and dust build up in the barrel. Is fireing ciggarette filters with degreaser and a pellet behind a good way?

Wouldn't say It's a good way of cleaning It but I've heard It does the job. I'd only clean the barrel If I noticed the groups opening up though. Some barrels like to be dirty to give the best groups others seem to prefer being clean.
