Guest Daks
i have to say night time you can get away with poaching more and ripping fences down, trashing the fields and even sometimes robbing fuel and barns off the farmers that f****d you off when you asked for permision!!!! now seriously i like night time as i dont seem to put much up through the day and it disheartens you a bit lol Quote Link to post

fensaluki 35
As much as I love being out with the lamp I personly don't think there is anything to match a good dog on "good quarry" in the day time. One dog on one "good quarry" in a big field and you can see it all.As close to perfection as you can get IMHO. Well untill some load of dogooder muppets with no understanding went and threw a spanner in the works. ATB Quote Link to post

albert64 1,882
early morning watching the dog work, marking his set, nets on ferret in listen to the thunder under ground hopefully getting a bolt but dont mind the dig, love lamping but seems everyones at it since the ban. before the ban we had hare men,fox men, rabbiting men now weve all been thrown in the same pot so we have to take our sport where we can find it Quote Link to post
SMART DOG 340
well im on tag so im now limited to daytime mooching but imo is the better way to see a dogs true ability, the ground i walk is mainly moorland and holds alot of bunnys and big bunnys and there nothing better than watchin a dog mark its quarry from a few yards stalkin it gettin closer then hit them hard on the seat and come out with there prize Quote Link to post
dirty twister 31
DAYTIME!!! don't know how to turn a lamp on Quote Link to post
