my mate had 106 ferreting 3 weeks ago

BEST ive had is 91 , that morning we 46 out of 1 warren in about 1 hour, with breeze of here.

 

but i have done 51 single handed

Done 134 bolting to shotguns. But i think this method speeds you up considerably, probably twice as fast.

Had 49 with purse nets on a different permission.

Either way, great fun!

I was on the phone the other night after my last trip,

speaking with a friend who used to own Ferrets.

 

He also used to work the same areas i do now.

 

He told me of a single warren with over 100 holes,

He used to carry 100 nets most of the time.

 

He was with his Father this day & they put down a bunch of

ten ferrets of different ages & experience.

 

They bolted 54 there and went home after that.

 

Easy mornings fun.

 

The 18 i got on my own last Sunday was for me, pretty reasonable

given i was there at 10.00am & driving home at 2.00pm.

Havent had a tonne up day as yet...but I feel that will change

as the season progress's here, as there is huge numbers about.

hi lads the most i have caught in a single day just with ferrets and purse nets is 109 and the most in one day with ferrrets nets and drop boxes is 253

I'm happy with three or four, which is just aswell really! Most ever is 6. Out of interest what do you do with a hundred odd rabbits do you sell them to a game dealer or what?
