Boy of Four killed in dog attack Liverpool

Recommended Posts

Was apparently a bull type dog so could be anything really, owned by a serving soldier so it says on MSN news.

Sad news indeed but not the dogs fault, poor ownership of the dog again means some lil boy is now dead

I know what your saying.....but it IS the dogs fault....some dogs are capable of this kind of thing and some are not.....the ones that are.......are at fault regardless of the type of owner they have.

Poor little child.

If what im reading & seeing on the news is correct, then it has a lot to do with the breed. I kept bulldogs for over 10 yr & they will always bring back good memories.....to me,but how many more children has to die before this stops. f**k that. My gr-children are my life & young kids dont deserve this. It sickens me to the bottom of my stomach thinking on that young kid.....................

Everything to look forward too in life & now its all gone.

Sorry to disagree but any common domestic dog is capable of killing a toddler/small child. My terrier is designed to kill things, a fox is not much smaller than a young child although smaller than a 4 year old. Is my terrier a dangerous dog??? No. It is socialised and properly trained to be around humans.

A freind of mine had a 10stone rottie that was as soft as any labrador, safe around kids and other dogs but because it was a rottie it was seen as a dangerous dog by those who didn't know it!!

It is the owner's fault!

Look at the dog whisperer with his pitbulls and tell me pitbulls are dangerous...they get that way through bad ownership with no real knowledge of the breed.

The difference is you can't have a dog which is big and powerful enough to kill a child in seconds with the same attitude as a small terrier.

No your wrong mate.....it always makes me laugh when people say " all dogs are capable of killing someone "...they are not !....to say they are in such a black and white way is no different to me saying " no dogs could ever kill someone "....

We are dealing with nature and the law of nature dictates good AND bad will ALWAYS crop up from time to time regardless of owners and regardless of these black and white statements.....some dogs are born bad....and have the genetic capability to kill a human,by the same token some dogs are born good and simply DO NOT have that same capability....to think all dogs can kill a human is just as naive as thinking no dogs could kill a human.....nature just dont work like that.

What a terrible shame, Condolences to the family.

I don't agree with banning any dog, I just think that only capable people should have a dog that has the capacity to pull a youngster to bits.

Terrible.

what a terrible terrible tragedy i feel so sorry for this little mites family i heard on the news that the police had been informed before that dogs were being bred on the property so makes you wonder what happened for someone to report that fact months before :(

How many more Children are going to be Mauled to Death Before any thing is done. There should be Some licencing Legislation Regarding Dangerous Breeds. The Owners should be Made to Prove they are Capable of Training and Controlling these Breeds. My Heart goes out to Young Lads Family. Rip Little Man.

Slow down son...whos arguing ? not me.....im discussing dogs.

If you think EVERY dog is capable of killing....do you also believe that every human being is capable of killing ?... we are born from nature as well.......some people could kill some just dont have it in them....no different to dogs.....
