I currently have 2 jills (sisters) that are 9 year old. They have had been worked hard and have accounted for thousands of rabbits in there time, still to this day work (only for about 4 hours then they get tired) and one hardly has a tooth left. They were both spayed at about 1 year old so have never had kits, think this season will definately be there last before the young kits have to fill there gap. max abell 196 Posted December 9, 2009 Report Share Posted December 9, 2009 Our oldest jill is 12 she lives in the court with 10 other jills and she still sorts them out if they push there luck with her she is a stropy old cow shes been a brilliant worker and never bit anybody she tends to sleep a lot now and can live her days out relaxing shes earnt it Quote Link to post
