when the ferret locks on to the rabbit is there a good way to get it off ...

When my jill ferret is locked onto a rabbit i give here ear a little pull not hard enough to hurt but just enough to distract them for a second

Gently rub and push down on thier nose with a finger. Only has to be really gentle. I would only do this with a ferret that dosent bite.

lol tried all the standard methods once with a hob who refused to let go... apart from spitting on him.. which to me was just plain gross lol

 

eventually hubby just cut the head off and popped him back into the carry cage with his friends.. he was happy to release it then and share lol

put one finger under its bottom jaw and press slightly for mabe 10 seconds they will let go

Press down gently with your thumb between the ferrets eyes and it will soon let go
