xbox 360 0r playstation 3

PS3 IMO. No charge for online gaming, more reliable, blu ray capability, and comfortable control pads clinch it for me.

I know they are more expensive to buy to start off, but they're ready to go online as soon as you take them out of the box. By the time you buy the network adaptor for the 360 there's not a great deal of difference between them.

..and to play blu ray disks, you're going to have to buy the blu ray add on drive for the 360, and that's not going to be cheap..

Xbox 360 elite for me, even though its 40 quids a year to get online theres much more players and you get much more than on a play station you get an:

online market place for buying game add-ons, music and movies

zune

last fm

1 vs 100 and many more than that

so its xbox 360 for me every time

I dont play games very often but I have a PS3 which we use mostly as a media center. I have set it up so we can watch all the films that are on my desktop PC and listen to the music on it also. Plus we can watch BBC Iplayer.

Got most of that on PS3 (Playstation network) mate. Games, add ons, films, (rental & purchase) Vidzone music video app, (FOC) Iplayer, etc.
