auld salmon 28 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Share Posted November 28, 2009 (edited) well oot this morn 830 got to first bit the fields were fecking soaking first few set gave us a few singles the i got three outa one set calum did a wee set and we had to dig only about 1ft half then it got realy wet half way up my boots so put the booy on the other side we got 4 rabbits out of 7 holer 10 wabbits from there then onto another bit of permission nice dry fields first set we got one then next set got one and ferret had a hold of one about 1ft down right under the hedge had a space of about 2ft under the hedge to dig with a 4ft spade but not a problem to me next set rabbit bolted and net went 20ft up the field and escaped on my side then a few more bunnies another set lost 1one got one next set got another then another dig aboot 2ft 19 in the bag now so moved on to another bit got another 4 total 23 for the day whilst doing the last set heard a commotion behind me looked round 2 roe deer hinds about 30 ft away from us before they seen us then just strolled away nice to see calums best he ever had was 14 so he was well chuffed a few picts end of day with a new hunter in the making 2 of the worker Edited November 28, 2009 by auld salmon Quote Link to post
