border lad 1,047
if he is biting his tail, and a red rash, he has picked up a parasite from some where, without, seeing the dog, it is dangerous, to say what it is,and I am not a vet, but if it is Mange, we use BENZYL-BENZOATE,(((( BUT PLEASE HAVE IT CHECKED OUT WITH A PROPER,VET, A.S.A.P. SNAP SHOT 194
Just to add mate, if you are from a farming background, and the dog goes in the back of the 4 x 4 or whatever you have, check to see no copper sulphate product has spilled takes a very small ammount, and this would also cause what you describe, BUT as said earlier get the dog to the vet for a check up.... ATB. Snap.

MissRhianL 70
majority of the time when i take my 2x dogs out for a walk, they love water for some reason and it wil always end up one of them gets hit into the muddiest puddle. From this sort of water they always have a rash developin throughout the rest of the day all underneath on their belly and on the inside of their back legs. The best thing to do is wipe the dirt off etc and rub in some sudocream, works a treat an iuts cheap, its clears up the rash by the followin morning
