well got out the day a wee bit rain

well went this morn a mile round trip go there aboot 9.15 then had a chat with the farmer then away we went big sets about 20 yrds long first set we got 2 then next set 3 then a wee set 8 holes got 1 and 1 bolted from nowhere dog chased it away then the rabbit decide to come back to the hole followed by the dog and we got it backnetted then another wee set nowt then back to the long sets again first one nowt then next one ferret came out after i herd a squealing went to put her back down and she had a chuckle before she went in but couldnyfind it so put another ferret down hoping she could find it and tryed to locate her thought the mk3 wasny working but ferret came up with no collar searched the set and looked in the box but nowt so traced it back to the four sets we had done found it 6inches inside the hole thank feck another we set in the middle of the field noet then another big un so netted a few hole put the long net down one side to give the dogs a bit of a go all 4 ferrets in 3 bolted across the burn and sneaked away through the rushes then a couple more sets a few more bunnys dogs still a lot to learn bezzas whippet did well my lurchers go a long way to go called it a day at 3.30 11 bunnies in the bag not the best bunnies ive ever had either one we got had swollen back legs and was thin but it was good to get out cheers auld boy

nice to get out and about,with every where being water logged at the mo,been a couple of frosty nights down here,so hopefully pushed a few more to ground,should be out myself on sat and sun,weather permitting,glad you enjoyed your self anyway,thats what its all about,oki doki,ian
