.Joe 0
I have a new pond that the duck do feed off of, but the second they move off or the first shot is fired of the night, they move on to other feeding grounds that I cannot shoot. So im just looking for a good call so that i can call them in every now and again in between the times that i shoot it. Have been feeding it and have limited myself to a brace every 3 weeks to begin with so every now and again i want to sit and call and observe what is going on. Any recommendations for a call? markyboy 0
sounds like a day pond to me mate, you could blow on your call till yer face turned blue and you wouldnt pull them in from other ponds that they will quite happily sit on.
chay 0
i had a similar problem .i started to put the ducks off every morning or when i was able to through the day when i was feeding it so they never got peace through the day its strange but they eventually stopped coming in in the morning and during the day and only came in at dusk or through the night during this time i didnt shoot the pond and took about 3 weeks till i could go down at dusk and they would be coming in steady for about 40 min .i kept the feed piling in but kept tight on them when they were coming in during the day.then i have tried this with other ponds but somtimes if its a day ,morning pond you cant it will stay that way and no amount of fkn about willl change it
