Check all the connections if they are all ok it will bee the battery at fault. Bulbs tend to last for years usually. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

fensaluki 35 Posted November 27, 2009 Report Share Posted November 27, 2009 I've got two of these that I have used for years and only ever changed the bulb twice but both times its been because ive dropped the lamp as i have been putting it in to the back of the truck at the end of the night,never had one dim or just blow though.....That said you just know whats going to happen tonight now dont you Think I'll take a spear with me now ATB Quote Link to post Share on other sites

This might sound stupid but have you tried cleaning the lens? Sometimes the lens becomes dirty and will need a wipe. Maybe it's just that you were out on a lighter night hence the reason the beam looked dimmer, the darker the night the brighter the beam looks. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
