my mate is parting with a 3/4 whip x colly, good lamper 16 months

3/4 whippet 1/4 saluki, a bit more height and stamina than a pure whippet

 

As a pure whippet owner i would second that but personally would favour a touch of collie in there too. If the fields are small a whippet would be fine but if there are any bigger fields i would go for a slightly bigger dog with more stamina 22-24"?
