see a few myself while out lampin ,is it right you leave the intestines in when cooking them ,and also seen a few little owls this year ,which is nice to see

see quite a few of them on some land i use, i wouldn't bother eating one myself more meat on my helmet

make really good eating. i know you leave guts inside snipe, think woodcock the same. my old uncle use to put bread under them when roasting, cos of guts being in black grease drops out onto bread and tastes really good apparantly like.

If youre going to eat one first you have to catch it i've seen a lot of gun dogs shy away from these and there trained to pick feather i dont think a lurcher would get one
