yes i use a amber filter its bang on mate (the red one is only good for rats) its my preference good allround filter and you dont get seen using it

 

 

Only suitable for rats,not sure how you come to that conclusion. I wouldn't be without a red filter, i've tried an amber one and couldn't stand using it.
