anyone use a amber or otheir colour of filter.apart from red

yes i use a amber filter its bang on mate (the red one is only good for rats) its my preference good allround filter and you dont get seen using it

thanks mate.was going 2 get a red one. but want 2 here from the otheir lads :thumbs:

i have a red and a amber filter for my striker i use neither of them they do my head in taking on and off when the dogs running it quarry.and just usually put down my jacket after a few runs which is annoying aswell.amber has a better beam range to me i think they are only any good for shooting.u can get as close with normal clear beam

hello mate i have a 170 and have red,green and amber filters i still use the red the most green is really good for lamp shy stuff but is very bright i have ran dogs on the green without removing the filter, but i have some of my best nights with the green hope this helps cheers :thumbs:

Hello mate i was having problems with my 170 removing and putting filters back on and a mate told me to cut the 3 tags off so it has no tags and the filter comes off on mint no messing about and it stays on without falling off just a tip mate

i have been told to do that but didnt fancy cutting my 15pound filter to pieces,i dont ever use it now anyway as i find no difference from normal beam.all quarry round here has seen every colour light i think they run away whatever
