Diameter of brass wire used for rabbit snaring

Hi all

Was just wondering if any one could tell me the diameter of the brass wire that is used for making up rabbit snares.I am fairly new to snare making and have watched Woodgas dvd and am keen to start running out a few snares

Have tried all my local hardware shops over here in Ireland for some wire to knock up a few and cant find anything that looks suitable and if i knew the diameter or size of the wire or what it is used for outside of making up rabbit snares I have other options to get this wire in bulk and a better price hopefully then what the fieldsports shops are charging

try john dee traps fro some mate, cheepest place i found and see if they still do the offer with the wire plus 100 eyelets.
