rather than just jiggling with where the calories come from.

In interests of my blood pressure I'll let this issue lie. Suffice to say we can agree to disagree? We've both said our pieces above so fair dos? :)

Lawrence thank you we try to "act" like gentlemen probably as we both have the best interests of the dogs at heart

Hear hear.

it's just a shame I can't get him to move with the times lol.

I prefer my dogs periodontal disease, pancreatitis, autoimmune disease, arthritis and diabetes free thanks hehe :tongue2::D Seriously though, it was as always a mental challenge and a pleasure. However frustrating such disagreements can be, it is as was said above always refreshing to be able to disagree in the strongest possible terms and yet be entirely civil, rational and actually enjoy the debate. Both sides get an airing, and maybe we ALL learn something along the way.

Cheers. :victory:

B8gger Bugg£r just done a nice answer but got somtehing come up a lost it lol.

BTW Sandy, I forgot to mention about the above... Do you use Firefox by any chance? There's an incredibly useful free add-on called Lazarus for it...

Only five minutes ago I just did the exact same thing as you, when I was replying to another thread in here (supplementing puppy raw diet with kibble). I accidentally hit refresh (F5) just as I was about to post up my musings and of course all that hard work disappeared before my eyes.

Thankfully though, Lazarus monitors everything you're typing in boxes (such as reply boxes) online and stores it in case you make a boo-boo. I simply right clicked the (now empty!) reply box, and selected "Lazarus". After putting in my password (obviously it won't store everything in plain text for anyone to read - it's encrypted!), I simply chose the appropriate block of text from the list and voilà! One second later my entire reply was restored.

I highly recommend you check it out, it's saved me a few times!! :clapper:

Nice one Sandy for the reply.

I hear what you're saying about the exercise, diet is only 1 part of it. A dog wont become amazingly fit just because they're being fed raw food. My terrorists get to run about 7 miles most days and 2 miles at the very least if I'm pushed for time. I think that without the correct diet they'd struggle with the exercise and I find what I feed them on (almost always Raw), does them brilliantly.

The only time I will give them dry food is a small amount each morning.
