is a 5/8 3/8 breed dog not a 3/4 breed dog put back to 1/2 breed dog?? for example a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie put to a 1/2 greyhond 1/2 collie??

thats what i thought surely that way lurcher to lurcher off proven working parents would be better than to straight greyhound.where did all this % in lurchers come from anyway some of the best allround working lurchers come from lines that have been bred for years and years and how can u tell whats in them?does it really matter so long as they do their job

Your 100% right scotty worker to worker percentage is just a number and we all know numbers and gentics dont work just cause it should be 1/4 because fractions says it should be dose'nt mean it is gentics could of through more to one side of the breeding than the other all fractonsdoes is give us a rough idea, as long as the dog from a line of prove workers to worker thats all i'd worry about.
