GETTING INTO BUSH BEATING

Hi im thinking of starting bush beating with my jrt but i know nothing about it! So imjust after some advice please. He is quite well behaved untill he gets after a rabbit/rat then he goes deaf! Will this be a big problem? Anyway if you could give some advice id be greatfull

Ive always been a fan of 'bush beating' although its more often got other names, the quarry remains the same.

 

Best way to get into it? I here you ask, well the best advice I can offer you is,,,timing is crucial, and remember all bushes are not the same, bush selection is vital. ie: not all bushes want beating,,,,,,well not at first. Some bushes can be a whole lot tighter than others, so take your time and remember if at first you dont suceed either change tactics or change bush. As their os a lot more bush out there that will appreciate a beating.
