UNFIT 0
I have a 6mth old Bedlingtonxwhippet and he is only 17', is he too small for lamping? she has caught 3 myxi rabbits on the run on a normal daytime walk but is he going to be fast enough on the lamp, he is a cracking dog in every other way. will not start lamping with him untl next year. You say he and she in your post if its a bitch i think it will 19tts tops and will not have the fast pace a well bred whippet at the same size has so you will have to choose your runs for it as that type of dog will not benefit long slips on rabbits that are up and running [bANNED TEXT] you switch the lamp on.atb dell Spot on. Regards size for lamping rabbits, it will catch a few. But a bigger dog [24-25in] will always have the advantage over a smaller dog [seeing squaters, turning rabbits in high stubble,............ . Yes it can do it, but[not] as good as the bigger dog. what a load of rubbish ,why write such a stupid thing ,you might think that but you will always be proved wrong ,,not as good as a bigger dog ,, Edited November 25, 2009 by UNFIT Quote Link to post

fensaluki 35
Give her time mate and I'm sure she'll do you proud lamping rabbits.I tend to go for larger dogs between 24"-28" for reasons that suit my own interests and although they do very well on lamped rabitts some of my mates have little beddy/whippets like yours and they can make my bigger dogs look silly on some nights. as long as she dose what you want from her thats all you can ask and I'm sure she will ATB Quote Link to post
