Cochyn 0
Fair play to the hobs, they must know when they're on to a good thing. I once did the same thing and one of my jills escaped. Had an idea where she'd be as there are chickens next door. I looked over and could see next door's jack russel / Chihuahua cross going mental digging around the shed. I climbed the fence, ran over, sent the dog packing and gave a little squeak. Out she popped and I managed to grab her. Could have been a costly mistake and she's a good un. Quote Link to post

RaiderBoy 19
it was the best feeling in the world to me because i dont keep working dogs just ferrets and spend a lot of my spare time handling them ETC and back when i only had the jill in my avitar she got out one night after hours of searching i gave up and just left the hutch door open and my carry box underneath so she could reach. went out next morning to find her curled up in her bed and since then i have too many of thoose days one was they got bored of being in thier run and chewed straight through the rubbish chicken wire and the two of them got out i found on pretty fast as she was chasing next doors pet rabbit about which i think i got there just in time to save and i couldent find the other one for hours and i found her about 200 meters up a lane going through some bin bags. so now i check every few hours just incase even though it may seem a little obsesive just for a ferret but these are the only animals that i have.
