camies 1
We All knew it was coming and it moves forward another step with :- This copied from Teletext today. Airgun ban powers due Powers to ban airguns - which have led to incidents including a boy's death in Glasgow - are expected to be handed over from Westminster to Holyrood. The SNP has argued that Scotland has a distinct problem with airguns and the move is due to be confirmed. The move has been urged by the parents of two-year-old Andrew Morton, who was killed in 2005 in Easterhouse. Anyone who works for the BASC might like to take notice (not that it will make the slightest bit if difference). Quote Link to post
dave1372 83
If they do ban them then it is just another case showing how out of touch with reality the scottish parliament really are ! There are more deaths due to drink driving, drugs, knife crime . They should tackle these issues first ! Politicians should get their heads out of the asses and get a reality check . owdnorthener 13
I have just emailed Counrtside Alliance to pass on my concerns about this. I now await a response. I am fed up of the " Lets Ban everything we dont either want to do or understand " brigade. If airguns were to be banned then the yobs will keep theirs hidden and only the law abiders will submit once more to powers that be and either hand theirs in or register for a licence. One day a qualification for government will be to have common sense .... I dont suppose I will be around then though. Ah well Monday morning and my rant is over ... for now. Have a good one, Regards Quote Link to post
